The Labour party has mandated youths from across Nigeria to shun the BBNaija that comes up in January as they alleged that it was sponsored to distract Nigerians from the elections.
This statement was made by Dr. Yunusa Tanko, the Chief Spokesperson of the LP Presidential Campaign Committee (LP-PCC), during a press briefing in Enugu on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.
According to Tanko the reality show, which will kick off on January 15, 2023, was sponsored by one of the main opposition parties.
The event, tagged “The Titans,” was targeted at the youths to prevent them from participating in the forthcoming election, according to the spokesperson for the Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Council.
He alleged that the plan was masterminded by the son of one of the presidential candidates during his visit to South Africa.
Why should the reality show commence in January when the last edition ended a few months ago? Tanko queried.
The spokesperson didn’t mention the party sponsoring the show but promised to reveal details to Nigerians when necessary.
