Born Nweze Obinna on the 9th of August 1995. He is a singer and songwriter who hails from Anambra State in the Eastern region of Nigeria.
Kod boy Rap’s journey into music started as a child, he grew from being a member of the children choir in his church to being the choirmaster.
Growing up as an adult, Kodaboy Rap pursued other dreams but returned to music in 2018 when he got the personal assurance that music was meant for him.
The same year he was signed into a record label after several of his songs got wide acceptance sitting in top figures on charts all over the country. In 2021 he terminated the contract he had with the record label.
Kodaboy Rap ever since going into music professionally has gained a wide range of fans and listeners. His exceptional style of music and performance has gotten him to perform on top platforms, like “Ay Live” one of the top comedy events hosted by one of Nigeria best Comedians globally, he performed at the comedy event in 2018 and 2021, he also performed at one of Nigeria’s leading artist ‘Skales’ listening part.
Kodaboy Rap is a graduate of Political Science from the University of Port Harcourt.
