Aloy Ejimakor, the legal counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has accused the immediate past president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari of fueling insecurity by detaining Nnamdi Kanu.
He made this known in a tweet where he additionally stated that the violent crackdown on IPOB members in the southeast region is also part of a bigger plan to make sure the region is driven into insecurity.
Aloy Ejimakor also expressed disappointment that the current president Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken after the former president and still hasn’t made any move to release the detained IPOB leader.
The lawyer ended his note by tagging the entire plot a ‘vicious cycle’.
“Buhari’s rendition/detention of MAZI NNAMDI KANU & his violent suppression of dissent in Southeast were part of his broader agenda to fuel insecurity in Igboland. It’s baffling that a smarter @officialABAT has allowed this to continue by not releasing #MNK. It’s a vicious cycle”, Aloy Ejimakor wrote on Twitter.
