The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said it was worried by reported “senseless shooting in Enugu State on Monday by hoodlums and cultists,” saying the South- East governors should deal decisively with people still enforcing sit-at-home many months after it banned it.
It alleged that those people still enforcing sit-at-home were recruited and sponsored by some evil politicians in the state who derive joy in spilling blood of their fellow citizens.
In a statement, the Media and Publicity Secretary of the group, Emma Powerful, said IPOB has severally explained that it had not authorised any body to enforce Monday sit-at-home which was suspended since September 19, 2021.
