Remi Tinubu, the wife of the APC presidential flag bearer Bola Tinubu, has promised to whip her husband into line should he “derail” after becoming the president.
Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, in Lagos, said he would work hard for Nigeria if elected President, as the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), “worked hard” to ensure emergence as the party’s presidential candidate.
“We will not disappoint you. Asiwaju will not derail after becoming president. You can count on me to bring him back to line should he derail,” Mrs Tinubu, a senator, promised.
The former Lagos first lady said this on Tuesday at the grand finale of the APC presidential campaign rally at the Teslim Balogun stadium.
