A Nigerian woman who was just released from a den of kidnappers has narrated her ordeal in their hands.
Her name was Lola, and she posted this on her Twitter handle on Sunday. According to her, she was kidnapped and raped while she was job hunting.
“I was kidnapped, locked up, and raped for days, no single effort from the Police, those I begged for retweet ignored me, my only crime was cuz i needed a decent Job. Was released after ransom was paid, tied up in Okene like a criminal. Y’all pray for me while I heal please”, Lola wrote.
In the post, Lola blamed the Nigerian police and government for abandoning her when she was in a kidnapper’s den in Okene.
Lola also added a few suicidal lines in her note, as she stressed that she went through a lot at the hands of her captors and she’s mentally drained.
“If y’all don’t hear from me again, know I took a decision that will get me to rest for lifetime. The hell I passed through is not meant for human to pass through, I don’t think I have that strength to continue holding on”, she wrote.
