Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, the general overseer of the Omega Power Ministries have taken to his Twitter handle to announce the scholarship opening available for students from his hometown of Ohanku, who are unable to go to the university because of lack of finance.
The 49-year-old clergyman made this known on his Twitter handle on Thursday.
He revealed that he made the decision after he came for the festive season.
“As I traveled to my village these Christmas in ohanku, I noticed so many young boys and young girls that has finished secondary school, but because of no money could not process to university. So I have decided to offer overseas university scholarship to every compound one student”, Apostle Chibuzor wrote.
It is common knowledge that lack of finance to fund tertiary education is a major challenge among many Nigerian youths from poor backgrounds; so it’s no wonder that there were lots of goodwill messages in the clergyman’s comment section under this post.
