Former England and Manchester City right back, Micah Richards has revealed how former teammate, Mario Balotelli made him speak the wrong words to his manager.
According to Richards, the incident occurred after he joined Fiorentina on the last day of a transfer season.
He was lost, and he looked up his former teammate to ask for a tip, like how to greet people in Italian and Balotelli didn’t fail him.
The Italian striker told him something that was the complete opposite of what he was looking for and the Englishman didn’t know until it was too late.
“I went to Fiorentina on the last day of the transfer market. But I didn’t speak any Italian, so I asked Balotelli what I should say when greeting someone. He gave me tips, and then I went to meet the manager, Montella. I go up to him, shake his hand, and say: “Testa di Cazzo”.
Later he found out that it means “Dickhead”.
Many football fans agreed with Balotelli, as they blamed Micah for approaching a player of Balotelli’s nature for help when there was a high chance that he would play games with him.
