Suspected gunmen have invaded the residence of a former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party chairman, Adamu Mu’azu, killing his 25-year-old nephew.
The state police command which also confirmed the incident, has said efforts are ongoing to rescue three persons who were abducted by the gunmen during the attack.
The family of the former national chairman are currently in grief as the unknown gunmen invaded his family residence, killed one and abducted the three others.
According to Leadership, Mu’azu’s nephew, Mu’azu Danladi, was killed by the gunmen in his residence in Boto hometown of Tafawa Balewa local government area of the state.
The 25-year-old was killed while the gunmen were targeting the ex-governor’s children who were around for the Sallah celebrations.
