One of the most horrific crimes committed by humanity is undoubtedly the Nazi Holocaust against the Jews from 1941-45. During the Nazi Holocaust, 6,000,000 Jews were killed, most of them by forced labour in concentration camps, gas chambers, and gas vans in Auschwitz-Birkenau, Bełżec, Chełmno, Majdanek, Sobibór, and Treblinka in occupied Poland.

In September 1945, the United Nations was founded by 51 states in San Francisco (USA) as an international organisation dedicated to maintaining international peace, and security after the Second World War. Against this background, one of its main objectives was to ensure that a situation such as the genocide of the Jews would not be repeated.
However, we must admit that a situation similar to the genocide of the Jews was indeed repeated when the Nigerian government and it’s allies unleashed a war against the Biafrans in 1967-70.
As a result, an estimated 3 to 5 million Biafrans were killed, mostly children who died of malnutrition and starvation after Nigeria imposed a global blockade on Biafrans demanding a safe homeland.
Sadly, the genocide of Igbo continues as Biafrans are persecuted rampantly across the country by terrorist groups such as Boko Haram and, the Fulani Herdsmen known as bandits.
Given the continued abductions, and extrajudicial killings of Biafrans by the Nigerian security forces, the unlawful arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), and the trivialisation of these incidents by some Nigerians, and Western mainstream media, there seems to be a conspiracy of silence on the part of the international community towards Biafran.

On Wednesday, 6 July, Mirror African Diaspora will host Hananya Naftali, Israeli human rights activist, an aide to former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and a Biafra sympathiser, to discuss the ongoing persecution of Biafrans, and Nigerian Christians.

Wonderful! I won’t miss this
Thank you, Mr. Afamefuna for the great work you are doing for the People of Biafra and the globe. Please, when the Israeli Human Rights advocate, Mr. Hananya Naftali, honors your invitation for the interview, do not forget to remind him that “the Igbo Biafrans are the cousins and relatives of the Israel.” History has documented that, and I am not making it up. It is unfortunate that the Israeli Prime Minister will watch and do nothing while the world conspire with the Nigeria government to exterminate the Igbo’s, after the Genocide of the Holocaust that killed Our Israeli cousins and relatives in the 1940s. Please, tell our Cousin and Relative Hananya, that the Jewish Igbo’s in Nigeria desperately “Need Help from Israel,” to preserve our race and generation. Thank you and remain blessed.
