A joyless villager in Edo state has lamented about the havoc being wreaked on their community by killer Fulani herdsmen.
In a video shared online, a young man was narrating how the herdsmen have been killing their people and raping their womenfolk, with the recent activity being the kidnap of a white foreigner and killing of his police escorts.
The villager went on to talk about how the villagers, who are mostly farmers are being forced to pay ransoms to get their loved ones or themselves out of captivity when kidnapped.
Currently, the villagers are calling on the government of Edo state to come to their aid, as they are helpless in the face of attacks from the marauding herdsmen.
