Former aviation minister and member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council Femi Fani-Kayode has disclosed one of the reasons why he deserted the PDP in 2019 was the marginalisation that was expressed in the former presidential Goodluck Jonathan’s administration against the Yorubas.
According to him, he was dissatisfied with how the People Democratic Party (PDP) was acting. At the time, we were just forming the APC, and I went to the ACN and CPC. I am actually the founder of the foundation, and I was there for the past nine months, and we were cooperating.
According to him, “I wasn’t happy with Jonathan because he had marginalized Yoruba people and I wasn’t happy with how the PDP was acting, and other issues, I was living with them, other PDP members became extremely angry with me, so they made up some false information, published it online, and spread it”.
