Fernando Santos is set to leave his job as Portugal coach after his team lost to Morocco in the World Cup quarter-finals, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Thursday.
Santos has led the team successfully to the top of their World Cup group before hammering Switzerland 6-1 in the round of 16.
According to multiple reports and relayed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 68-year-old is no longer the coach of Portugal.
Portugal will appoint new manager in the next week.
