A Federal High Court sitting in Umuahia on Wednesday proceeded with the case between Indigenous People of Biafra’s leader, Nnamdi Kanu, and the Federal Government without the presence of lawyers for the Federal Government.
In a case filed by IPOB lead counsel Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, he argued that the extraordinary Rendition of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu should not be transferred to Abuja but decided in Umuahia.
Aloy Tweeted;
Today, I appeared before the Federal High Court, Umuahia where I argued that my Suit on the Extraordinary Rendition of #MNK should NOT be transferred to Abuja but decided in Umuahia. Lawyers for the FGN were absent but the Court proceeded with the case. Stay tuned for the Ruling.
