Born Tope Alabi on the 27th of October 1970 is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter and music composer. She is also called Ore ti O Common and Agbo Jesu.
Tope Alabi started as a Comic character from a group called Jesus International. After the group disbanded Tope continued with stage and theatre groups, they travelled around Nigeria. She evolved into acting movies, she was featured in Yoruba movies.
Year’s later Tope found her sound and music, after giving her life to Christ, the Tope Alabi gospel singer was birthed.
In May 2019 Tope Alabi was crowned the queen of the Yoruba Language by the Twitter community in Nigeria, as a result of her participation at the United Bank for Africa 70th anniversary celebration and the path she played in a competition they held.
Tope has performed on top platforms all over the country including the biggest Christian fathering “Experience”.
