There was pandemonium at the Garki market in Abuja after an operative of the Department of State Services (DSS) shot a tailor for failing to meet the deadline for his garment.
FCT police officers arrived to arrest the DSS officer, to the delight of the traders and customers present.
Many criticisms were flying around the market over how the DSS man went too far with his anger over a craftsman’s failure to meet deadlines, and not even an extreme case of theft, which according to Nigerian law doesn’t carry a death penalty.
