Int’l Society (Intersociety), an organisation dedicated to Civil Liberties and the Rule of Law, was founded in Nigeria in July 2008. Since then, despite all intimidations, the organisation has consistently documented and published numerous human rights cases of abuse against innocent Nigerian citizens by State and non State actors, such as the Nigerian Police and the Nigerian Military.
Their stories about human rights violations by the Nigerian security authorities are frightening, such as the number of victims running through all ethnic groups.
Tomorrow, Saturday, 5/11/2022, Mirror African Diaspora will interview Emeka Umeagbalasi, a key officer of Intersociety, on issues relating to the organisation’s activities on human rights, advancement of democracy and good governance, including leadership accountability.
