Ollie Pearson and Tessie Mitchell, both 23 have moved out of a flat into a refurbished Ford van.
The couple revealed that they are paying £15,000 to get the Ford transit van, but it is a better investment and offers more comfort than sharing a flat with two people.
According to them, by getting the van; they are going to save £8000 annually, and it’s better than paying more than £900 for gas and rent every month like they do in the flat they lived in.
About how they are going to manage life in the van, the couple revealed that the van requires little maintenance, as its past owner has kept it in good shape.
The van is equipped with a solar panel on its roof. It also has a gas cylinder capable of containing three months’ worth of gas, and a charger connected directly to the vehicle’s alternator.
Since the beginning of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, bills have soared, choking a chunk of the UK’s 67 million people.
