Chef Abdul-Razak Faila of Ghana has successfully completed her attempt to set a new Guinness World Record cook-a-thon, clocking in at 227 hours and 10 seconds.
The committed chef had her eyes set on the incredible achievement of 240 hours, but following tenacious and unrelenting work, she ended her astonishing endeavor 13 hours ahead of schedule, thanks to the guidance of her loyal crew.
She cooked a pot of jollof rice as her last meal in the last hour, intending to serve it to the masses who had assembled to show solidarity at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale.
Her sous-chef, Malik Eric, assisted her on the 10-day endeavor, which began on New Year’s Day at midnight.
