Born Churemi Joe Efe-William is a Christian songwriter and singer. A graduate of Microbiology from the University of Port Harcourt.
Churemi as a professional musician started from an early age of eight when she wrote her first songs and performed in her church and school choir, these were her first platforms to push her to the height she dreams of.
Aside from being a singer, Churemi is a pro guitarist, just like Alicia keys and her piano gets everyone hooked, Churemi striking chords on her guitar gets her listeners enchanted.
She won the Rivers State Talent Competition in Music and General Category and became the Youth Alive ambassador of the Rivers Province in 2015. Also in 2018 she won the Rebrand Competition in the Music and General category.
Her debut single “Black and white” has been well-received topping charts and gaining thousands of streams. Her live recording acoustic album has gained lots of streams also on all digital platforms.
Churemi is a voice of passion, faith and hard work.
