Born Akiode Blessing on the 5th of August 1999, is a fast-rising Nigerian songwriter and rapper.
Candy Bleakz’s love for music was influenced by her environment, growing up in Nigeria’s entertainment capital Lagos, she was exposed to music and persons who are delving into the industry.
At a young age Candy knew she would love to be in the singing scene, hence her writing her first lines and lyrics.
Candy is currently studying Physiology at Olabisi Onabanjo University.
Though in school, she is still pursuing her music career and is currently signed to Chocolate city one of Africa’s biggest record labels, which has Ice-Prince and MI, alongside most of Nigeria’s biggest artists and rappers.
Some songs by her are Virus, O por Yeh, Owo Osu and many more. She was Awarded Artist of the year at the Afrika Shrine in Lagos.
