The former senior special assistant on Media to Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe has stepped down from his present role as the director general of the Labour Party presidential campaign council.
He revealed this in a letter he shared on his Twitter handle on Tuesday evening.
“It’s time to step aside. But I am with PO and the Obidients and the Presidential Campaigns till God gives us victory in Jesus’ Name”, Doyin Okupe captioned the letter.

The 70-year-old DG was recently in the news over money laundering charges and was called to step down by concerned members of the public.
