In July 2023 John Obot, a Nigerian man, started embarking on a remarkable mission to set a new world record by conducting a 145-hour reading marathon, promoting the significance of reading.
The marathon is scheduled to take place in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, from September 9 to 15, and has been approved by the Guinness World Records.
