Christopher Musa, the chief of the defence staff (CDS), Taoreed Lagbaja, the COAS of the army, Emmanuel Ogalla, the COAS of the navy, and Hassan Abubakar, the COAS of the air force, are the recipients of the decorations.
After retiring the service chiefs who had worked under the previous administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, Tinubu nominated new ones on June 19.
The service chiefs were screened in a lengthy private session on July 13 before the Senate approved their selections.
During plenary on July 19, the House of Representatives confirmed the service heads.
