Ten days after his wedding, a young man was reportedly killed by bandits in Sokoto State’s Isa Local Government Area.
According to one Mallam Jabir, who revealed this on Twitter, the deceased was shot and killed on August 1, 2023, while working at his farm.
The deceased’s father was also taken hostage by the bandits.
“This Young man was shot dead 10 days after his marriage while working on his farm in Isa local gov’t area of Sokoto state. They killed him and also kidnapped his father. The incident happened today and yet nothing has been done by the relevant authorities. Sad,” he tweeted.
