Asari Dokubo, a prominent Niger Delta figure and ex-militant has said that he will emerge as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria someday.
The 59-year-old made this known in a viral video, where he declared that he would assume the presidency when the time came, regardless of if people called him a “thug or terrorist”.
He maintains that the constitution makes it abundantly clear that all citizens are equal and have the right to run for public office.
Dokubo also pledged to deal with anyone attempting to unseat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, despite the opposition candidates’ legal challenges to his election victory.
