Following the arrest and accusation of a university student of defaming President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife on Twitter, outrage has been mounting in Nigeria.
According to the prosecution, Aminu Adamu Mohammed published a picture of Aisha Buhari along with Hausa-language rants that accused the first lady with embezzlement.
The 23-year-old was charged with propagating false information during the court proceedings.
it was gathered that the Nigerian student Aminu Adamu Mohammed, who was charged with defaming Aisha Buhari, also supported the murder of Deborah Samuel Yakubu, a second-year Christian college student who was killed in Sokoto, Nigeria, by a mob of Muslim students after being accused of blasphemy.
The now-viral old tweet discovered by Mandy News on Twitter reveals that the Young Aminu supported the killing and burning of Deborah.
