Born Nikita Chepchumba Kering, on the 26th of February 2002, is a singer, actress and media personality. She hails from Nairobi in Kenya.
Nikita breakthrough in music was in 2012 when she performed at an album launch of Emmy Kosgey. After that, she was signed by EmPawa Africa and was chosen to undergo an international training and mentoring programme. Nikita was a finalist but was not allowed to contest because she was underage.
Some awards won by her includes Pulse Music Video Award (PMVA) for Best New Artist in 2018, All Africa Music Awards for Best Female Artiste in Eastern Africa in 2019 and also in 2021, she won for the category of Best RnB and Soul Artiste in the year 2021. She has more awards to her credit.
