At least 37 people have reportedly been k!ll£d after suspected b@ndits invaded Binnari community in Karim Lamido Local Government Area of Taraba State on Friday, October 23, 2026.
The attackers, said to be numerous, reportedly opened fire on residents, looted food items from shops and set several houses and shops ablaze.
The gunmen are suspected to have entered Taraba State from neighbouring Plateau State.
The Taraba State Police Command confirmed the attack in a statement issued on Saturday by its Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Victor Mshelizah.
