Troops arrest suspected terrorist logistics supplier with 64 rolls of clothing material in Adamawa

Troops of the 247 Recce Battalion have arrested a suspected terrorist logistics supplier and intercepted 64 rolls of clothing material during a stop-and-search operation in Mubi North Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

Zagazola gathered that the incident occurred at about 12:40 p.m. on Sept. 6, 2026, when troops deployed at Tsamiya Checkpoint intercepted a vehicle and apprehended the driver.

A search of the vehicle led to the recovery of 64 rolls of clothing material of different colours, which security sources said were similar to materials reportedly used by terrorists.

The driver was unable to give a satisfactory account of the intended destination of the materials, raising suspicion that they could be linked to terrorist logistics activities.
