Your husband is your number one priority. No matter how busy you are, take one hour break to cook for your husband — Pastor Mrs Abioye

Pastor Mrs. Mary Abioye has advised married women who work demanding jobs, including in banks, to ensure their careers do not take priority over their husbands and homes.

Speaking during a discussion, a woman asked if it was wrong for a married bank worker who is always busy to employ a house help to assist with cooking for her family.

Responding, Pastor Abioye stressed that being married should come with proper prioritisation, insisting that a woman’s job should not become an excuse for neglecting her husband.

“You work in the bank, but you didn’t marry bank. So, this thing you work in the bank, I want to let you know that priority, number one priority is my husband,” she said.

According to her, married women can utilise their one hour work break to prepare meals for their husbands before returning to work.
