Court Remands Ifeanyi Ogbonna, ‘Odogwu Asaba,’ Over Late Favour’s Case

The High Court has remanded Mr Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly known as Odogwu Asaba, at the Ogwashi Uku Maximum Correctional Centre following an application heard and granted by the court on Friday, September 4, 2026.

The development comes after the autopsy and toxicology test results in the case involving the late Favour were made available to the police investigation team.

According to the lawyer representing Favour’s family, the results, alongside other evidence and facts gathered during the investigation, have been included in the investigation report prepared for the prosecution and trial of the case.

With the remand order granted, Ogbonna will remain in custody and be brought before the court as the case progresses.
