A 25-year-old former Goldman Sachs financial analyst, Darren Zhou of Florida, has pleaded guilty to aggravated stalking, written threats to k+ll and illegal cellphone use after OpenAI flagged his ChatGPT conversations and alerted the FBI.

According to The Detroit News, Zhou repeatedly told ChatGPT he planned to k+ll his 21-year-old ex-girlfriend, writing: “I’m gonna k+ll her by the end of this month. If I can’t have her, then nobody can.”
