A 47-year-old man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison with hard labour after a court in Ghana convicted him of repeatedly incest with his 20-year-old biological daughter.
The convict, Kwame Ti-Zaaeku, was found guilty by the Lawra Circuit Court in the Upper West Region after investigations by the Lawra District Police revealed that he had s+xually ab¥sed his daughter, a Junior High School student, over a prolonged period.
Investigators also established that he repeatedly threatened to k+ll the victim if she reported the ab¥se to anyone.
Following a full trial on Friday, July 24, 2026, the Lawra Circuit Court in Ghana, presided over by His Honour Stanley Adjei, found Kwame Ti-Zaaeku guilty of r+pe and issuing d+ath threats against his biological daughter.
