A yet-to-be-identified woman has d+ed after a fire engulfed a residential building along Ikpa Road in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, in the early hours of Tuesday, July 21.
According to reports circulating online, the woman had reportedly accompanied a man to his residence after the pair met at a nightclub earlier that night.
A social media user, Frank Tochukwu Fidelis, who shared details of the incident, said the fire broke out at about 5:30 a.m., d+stroying property worth millions of naira.
While the male occupant was said to have escaped the inferno unh@rmed, the woman reportedly became trapped inside the building and d+ed from severe b¥rns before she could be rescued.
