We’ve  Noticed the Footprints of Foreign Jihadists Across Our Borders But We Are Equal to the Task — Nigerian Army Raises Alarm

The Nigerian Army has raised concerns over the presence of foreign jihadists around Nigeria’s borders, assuring citizens that troops remain vigilant and fully prepared to tackle any emerging threat.

Speaking during the Nigerian Army Day Celebration in Port Harcourt, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Olufemi Oluyede, acknowledged the worsening security situation across the Sahel region and revealed that the military has already detected signs of foreign t£rrorist movements.

“It is also worth noting that the Nigerian Army is not oblivious of the dire security situations in neighboring countries across the Sahel region,” he said.
