G¥nmen have abd¥cted a pastor, Rev. Samuel Gbinde, and two members of his congregation from the church residence at NKST Church, Andyar, in Ishan Classis, Benue State.
The abd¥ction was confirmed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Executive Committee of the NKST Church, which said the victims were taken in the early hours of Tuesday.
“It is with a heavy heart, yet with unwavering confidence in the sovereignty of Almighty God, that we announce the unfortunate abd¥ction of our cleric, Rev. Dr. Samuel Gbinde, along with two members of his congregation,” the church said.
The church called on its members, clergy and supporters to pray for the victims’ safe and unconditional release, while asking God to grant strength and comfort to their families and the entire congregation.
