Brazil Football Confederation president, Samir Xaud, has been accused of using federation funds to pay for trips and hotel stays for women allegedly linked to him.
A Brazilian news outlet reported that fitness entrepreneur Camila Andrade spent eight days at a New York hotel on a reservation allegedly booked under Xaud’s name, costing about $11,500. Photos also allegedly showed the pair dining together in the city.
The report claimed Xaud later returned to Brazil before travelling to Mexico City to reunite with his wife, Natalia Xaud, ahead of World Cup events.
The outlet also alleged that Xaud previously funded a trip for model and influencer Tamares Fernandes Barcellos to Qatar in 2025, including a business-class flight and luxury hotel stay.
