The Nigeria Police Force has arrested three officers of the NSCDC Mining Marshals unit Simeon Yakubu Anyebe, Ibrahim Ayefu and ASC Iwodi Obochi in connection with the de@th of Deputy Superintendent of Corps (DSC) Agada Levi Agada, an NSCDC officer and pastor who was fatally sh%t during an operation in Nasarawa State.
The Force Intelligence Department (FID) launched an investigation after Agada’s family petitioned authorities, citing conflicting accounts surrounding his de@th. While one version claimed b@ndits att@cked the team, another suggested only Agada d+ed while other officers were detained. Medical information referenced in the family’s petition allegedly indicated that the fatal g+nsh%t resulted from the firearm of another NSCDC officer.
Police sources also disclosed that investigators traced over ₦2 billion through a bank account belonging to an NSCDC Mining Marshal, with efforts ongoing to determine the nature of the transactions and any links to other suspects.
