42-Year-Old Canada-based Nigerian Man D+es After 4-Years Battle With Cancer

A 42-year-old Nigerian man, identified as Uwa, has d+ed in Canada after a prolonged battle with cancer that lasted four years.

He reportedly passed away on April 2, leaving behind his wife and three children, all under the age of six.

According to information shared by a close associate, the deceased was an instrumentation engineer who relocated to Canada in September 2022 alongside his wife and children in search of better opportunities.

“He was a kind soul, a devoted husband and father of 3 under the age of six,” a statement describing him read. The cause of the cancer was not disclosed in the statement, and no specific details were provided on what led to the illness.

He was described as a man known for his kindness, work ethic, generosity and humility. “He was everything to his family, a provider, a protector and a source of strength and love,” the tribute added.

Reports indicate that he battled the illness for four years before his passing at the age of 42. He is survived by his wife, a daycare teacher, who is now left to care for their three young children while facing emotional and financial difficulties following his d+ath.
