A suspected th+ef has been apprehended for allegedly ste@ling worshippers’ shoes during prayers at a mosque in Jigawa State.
According to reports, the suspect is believed to have been involved in similar th+fts across several mosques over an extended period. However, the total number of shoes st+len remains unknown.
A witness, Muhammed Sani Yusuf, said the latest incident occurred on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at a mosque located along Maje Road in Hadejia. He noted that the suspect was caught in the act, putting an end to what is suspected to be a long-running pattern of th+ft in the area.
