A devastating midnight fire has claimed the lives of a father and his daughter in Minna, Niger State.
The incident occurred at St. Andrew Anglican Church, in the Sabon Gari area of Minna on March 2, 2026.
The victims, Ikechukwu Michael Njoku, 45, sustained severe burns while trying to rescue his daughter and passed away on March 16.
His 6-year-old daughter, Esther, d!ed instantly while his wife and 3 other children were badly injured.
The survivors are currently in IBB Specialist Hospital Minna fighting for life.
Father and daughter will be laid to rest on March 27, 2026 in their hometown, Mebiokpa Okposi Ohozara, Ebonyi State.
