A section of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation complex in Abuja was on Monday morning engulfed by fire, forcing workers to vacate parts of the building.
Eyewitnesses said the fire was first noticed around 8:20 a.m., with thick smoke seen billowing from a section of the structure.
The incident reportedly occurred in Section C of the Head of Service building within the government complex.
Staff members were seen hurriedly moving away from the affected area as emergency responders were alerted to the situation
