WAFCON 2026: Super Falcons Drawn Zambia, Malawi, Egypt In Group C

Defending champions, Super Falcons of Nigeria have been drawn in Group C of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations with Zambia, Egypt, and Malawi, DAILY POST reports.

Group C games will be played at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.

Nigeria thrashed Zambia 5-0 in the quarter-finals of the 2024 edition which was also hosted by Morocco.

Justine Madugu’s side will be facing Malawi for the first time at the WAFCON.

Egypt have featured regularly in the competition.

The Super Falcons will be aiming for a record-extending 11th title in Morocco.

16 countries will participate in the tournament for the first time.

The competition will run from 17 March to 3 April.
