Two visually impaired persons, a man and a woman, have reportedly been abducted by suspected kidn@ppers in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The victims were among nine persons travelling from Benue State to Jos after a training programme they were scheduled to attend was postponed.
According to PUNCH, the Chairman of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities in Plateau State, Shindol Aaron, said the incident occurred around 8pm on Monday. Seven other occupants of the vehicle reportedly escaped.
Another member of the association disclosed that the kidnappers had demanded ₦50 million for the victims’ release.
