There is no going back on fuel subsidy removal, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu declared yesterday.
According to him, removal of subsidy has created the opportunity of growth, which the economy is witnessing.
He chided political opponents who have vowed to reverse the decision to take away subsidy, if elected. Both former Vice President Atiku Abubaka of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) have expressed the intention to bring back subsidy should they be elected
