A Florida couple has sued a fertility clinic after a DNA test allegedly revealed that the husband has a zero percent probability of being the biological father of their long awaited baby girl.
Natalie and Joshua Strong said they endured years of injections, hormones, medication and the heartbreak of a failed IVF attempt before finally welcoming their daughter in 2025.
However, their joy turned into devastation shortly after the baby’s birth when routine blood work raised questions about her biological parentage. A subsequent DNA test allegedly confirmed that Joshua was not her biological father.
The couple claims Brown Fertility in Jacksonville, Florida, mistakenly used another man’s sperm to create the embryo that resulted in their daughter. The clinic has denied the allegation, according to reports.
“I just don’t understand how one little mistake like that could affect our whole lives forever,” Natalie told CBS News.
Despite the discovery, Natalie said her love for her daughter had not changed.
