A 46-year-old man, identified as Danjuma Dadou, has been shot dead by suspected Fulani bandits at Panse Village along the Kurra Falls road in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Zagazola Makama reports that the incident occurred at about 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, when troops of Sector 4, Sub-Sector 41, Gashish, responded to a report of sporadic shooting in the area.
Upon arrival at the location, the troops discovered Dadou’s lifeless body bearing gunshot wounds. The attackers had fled the area before the arrival of the troops.
The troops immediately launched search operations within the general area in an attempt to locate the assailants, but no contact was established.
