US Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, a controversial pro-Trump Republican, has been accused in an ethics complaint of having inappropriate s+xual relationships with three members of her staff and paying one of them $200,000 to keep quiet.
The complaint, filed on September 17 by investigative journalist David Wheeler, that the Colorado representative had relationships with former district director Clarice Navarro, district chief of staff Raven Finegan and former chief of staff Jeffrey Small.
It further claims that the relationship with Navarro began in 2021 and continued until she left Boebert’s office in January 2025, with encounters taking place at the district office, in a vehicle and hotel rooms reportedly paid for by Boebert’s campaign.
The complaint also Boebert paid Navarro $200,000 after she threatened to file an ethics complaint in March 2025.
