Troops kill 21 Boko Haram terrorists, destroy camp in Adamawa

Troops of the Nigerian Army, in conjunction with a tactical team, have killed 21 Boko Haram terrorists during a joint raid operation on a terrorist camp around the Kopre Mountain general area of Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

The operation, conducted between the early hours of Aug. 26 and Aug. 27, followed credible intelligence received by the troops regarding the presence of Boko Haram terrorists in the area.

Military sources told Zagazola Makama that following the intelligence, the troops moved into the general area by stealth between 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 26 and 4:10 a.m. on Aug. 27.
and subsequently launched an assault on the terrorists at their camp around Kopre Mountain.
